Filming blog; started

We started filming. We had to re do many of the takes we originally took. The last time we tried to film it was raining. So, many of the previous films could not be used. There was too much sound in many of the films. And the rain the was too loud in some of the other films. When we were in the garage the cars shook the camera and was too loud. So, we looked at those films this time we filmed. We did this to find mistakes in our filming.  It also helped us improve our filming.
This time filming was a bit easier. We were able to find more spots that were not as loud. We also found a parking lot that was not as busy. This allowed there to be less sound. The library also was not as busy. So, our takes from the library as came out better. Not as many people interrupted or interfered with the camera. Filming this time was a lot more enjoyable. We were able to have fun and get a lot of work done. Its good to film when it's raining but, sometimes it gets too loud.

Filming blog : we haven't started

We recently started filming. We are working outside of class. Over the weekend, we began to film. But the weather was bad. We tried to film in the garage. It started raining really bad at first. So, we waited for the rain to stop. But, every time we began to film the rain would start. The parking garage we found was also very busy. It was also too nosy to film.
When we went into the library, we also had difficulty filming when we were in the library. There was a lot of people there when we were there. Many of the times we tried filming, we were interrupted by someone. Either someone walked past the camera or someone got too close. Other times people were talking. Even though it is is supposed to be quiet in the library, many of the small sounds got picked up. When we looked back at the films, we could hear many of the nosies. So, many of the films we took can't be used. We are going to try to find a different garage and library. We also are going to find a day when the weather is better.

Filming blog

We're in our filming stage. But, we have not started. We are trying to put more ideas together. We are waiting until we have everything planned out. So far we have put a plan together that seems like it works. But, as a group, we were not fully ready to film yet. We have to pick the best day for us individually that will allow us to all be available. But, we all have different schedules and activities. So, that makes it harder. We are now picking a day.
When we start filming, we're going to need multiple filming days. We have a few locations we have to go to. We need to first go to the library. We're going to the library to film the first scene in the movie. Then we have to find a parking garage. The parking garage has to have good lighting. It also has to be less busy. We're looking for a less busy garage so that filming is easier. If there is too many cars it will be harder. It also will be louder.

Storyboarding for final project

The elements of a horror film starts from slides 1-5. These scenes were filled with close up shots of every individual involved. Many of the starting scenes are in the library then it moves to the car. As the scenes go by, the intensity grows. The ending of scene 1-5 got even more thrilling. In slides 6-10 it talked about how we are going to go about playing the roles for those scenes. My scenes mainly included medium shots. Majority of the time the scenes are in the car. The scenes get intense as the story goes on. It has an ending that’s going to have you wonder what happens next?

Title design for final Projects

This powerpoint is about the title design of our final project. The font is very important. It can create a tone. The title could draw people into the movie. For our title font, we are using Blombat. It is a very creepy horror film font. It looks like blood on a wall that has been painted. We are using "Times New Roman" for our names so, that is is bold. But times new roman also will not distract the audience from the film. The powerpoint goes more into depth about our font.

Location, Health, Safety, Schedule, and Participants for final project

This powerpoint has the details about Location, health and safety, participants and the schedule. The filming location is in a few places. We're using a library, parking lot, and trunk. We think those locations will help add the the scary tone of our film. We also have a plan for health and safety. We will be cautious when driving. We also plan to bring a first aid kit. Our main participants are Naiya, Na'mya, and Ambrielle. The schedule is done on a week by week format. The powerpoint further goes into depth about each topic.

Planning for final project part 2

Through out the power point I wrote out the whole script. I wrote the script starting form scene 1 to scene 10. I included the sounds that will be heard through out the film. For the sounds I included diegetic and no diegetic. Most of the sounds included an instrumental, music from the radio, and movement sounds from the actors. It only took me 4 slides to write out the whole script due to the fact it's not much being said. Through out the script it's manly people in shock and trying to find somewhere to hide the body not too much talking. I wrote who will be saying who by naming them Person 1, Person 2, and Person 3, and victim. The names made it less confusing and easier to understand the script for the actors. In total 4 people will be acting through out the film.

Planning the Scenes part 1

The google slide attached depicts the scenes to our opening sequence. The ten slides include every camera change that will occur. The action of each character is explained throughly. The details, small and large are also included. Details such as camera angles and movements are included. Through statements being mad are not included, the different types of sound in a movie are added into the presentation as well. This is because we want to understand our film n all aspects. The different components of Mis-En-scene are added because it illustrates what we want each scene to be like. We used our vision to further this google slide presentation. The inclusion of these elements are needed because we can look back to understand our thought process when creating our storyboard
