Genre Research: Sequence

The genre my opening sequence will be is horror. We decided to do that genre because of the way we want our film to be. We want our film to be scary and very suspenseful so we decided to do the third pitch of when the girl is trapped in the closet and confused on where she is at. The way we have it pictured to be set up it will be very suspenseful and scary. It will leave the audience on the edge of their seats which is how horror films leave viewers. We will include typical lighting and sounds that are used in horror films like natural and dark lighting. As well as common mis- en scene that are used.
